After serving in the Army as a Rotary Wing Instructor Pilot, I became a U.S. Customs Inspector. My career with Customs took me to Argentina, Bolivia, Trinidad, Kenya and Hanoi. In 2003, I was posted in Vancouver, BC as a diplomat while serving as the Area Port Director. I was transferred to Houston in Dec. 2006, where I became the Area Port Director for U.S. Customs and Border Protection, with responsibility for all Air Ports and Sea Ports from Beaumont to Corpus Christi, Tx. In Oct. 2007, the Airports and Seaports were separated and I became the Service Port Director responsible for all international arrivals of passengers and cargo at area airports. My Wife Tish and I have 4 children 2 girls and 2 boys. We also have eight grandchildren. We currently reside in Spring, Tx.
